Nintendo of Europe posted a screenshot of Bayonetta 2 on Twitter. Captioned "Size Doesn't Matter," the company is trying to get fans excited for the launch of the anticipated action title.

Bayonetta 2 is a frenetic hack and slash game. It stars the title character as she stylishly cuts through legions of foes.

The image captures the scale of the game. And, even though it is being released on the Wii U, it shows us that the game can still have breathtaking scale.

But characters starring in titles from Platinum Games often take down monsters that tower over them; Raiden bested monstrous robots in Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

Bayonetta 2 has been getting rave reviews from critics and is one of few games to earn a perfect score on Gamespot.

"Bayonettas 2's combat is so expertly constructed, and its presentation so joyously insane," Gamespot states, "that you'd have to try so very hard to get bored of it all.

In a year filled with the promise of ever more elaborate experiences on all the shiny new hardware, that Bayonetta 2--a homage to classic game design and escapism--should be the most fun I've had playing a game all year is unexpected."

Other media outlets share Gamespot's opinion, as Bayonetta 2 has a near-perfect score on Metacritic.
