Uncharted, one of the most popular Playstation-exclusive series, will be getting a new addition in 2015. Titled "A Thief's End," it will be the first Uncharted game for the Playstation 4.

Since the release of Drake's Fortune--the first title in the series--the franchise has been known for its graphical prowess.

"Graphically, Uncharted's beautiful as you tear down trees with turrets," IGN stated about Drake's Fortune, "watch Nate's clothes saturate with lagoon water and the sun filter through the leaves"

In addition, Examiner reported that Naughty Dog president Christophe Balestra promised a "big jump" in terms of graphics on the Playstation 4.

It looks like that the team behind Uncharted 4 will deliver on that promise.

Kyle Margenau, the lead game designer of Uncharted 4, shared an image via Twitter of what series protragonist, Nathan Drake will look like on eighth generation hardware.

According to Gamespot, it is still unclear whether this image is from in-game footage or a cinematic. In addition, they reported that the image was a part of the Naughty Dog 30th Anniversary Celebration.

We've been waiting for the first truly next-gen title--the one that separates itself from the now-dated hardware of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. This game has a chance of doing that.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set for release in 2015 on the Playstation 4. For more about the upcoming title from Naughty Dog, you can check out the game's official website here.
