Marvel's Cinematic Universe has been growing bigger and bigger ever since the debut of Iron Man in 2008, but until last year's Captain America: Civil War, it was missing one of Marvel's biggest characters in Spider-Man.

That finally changed thanks to a partnership with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures and that has led to the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, which just had a brand new clip released for it.

Tonight were the MTV Movie & TV Awards hosted by Adam DeVine and during the show came a brand new clip from Spider-Man Homecoming that has since been posted to the official MTV Facebook page.

The clip released is an extended version of one we've seen in a number of the trailers for the movie.

It has Peter Parker (Tom Holland) getting back home into his room in his Spider-Man costume by crawling on the ceiling before realizing that his school mate and friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) is sitting on his bed.

This very funny scene shows more of Peter's reaction to Ned finding out, with him trying to come up with excuses for how he isn't Spider-Man.

Evidently, Ned was coming over to help finish a LEGO Death Star with Peter and Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) let him in, which leads to him finding out the secret identity.

Spider-Man: Homecoming still has a couple months left until it releases, as it is coming out in theaters on July 7.

The most recent trailer for the most revealed quite a bit of the plot, but this is a clip that has been around since one of the earlier trailers.

It doesn't really show anything that we didn't know before, but it provides us a little more of the chemistry between Peter and Ned that we can expect when the movie releases in July.
