Marvel Studios has just released the latest trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2 giving us more footage of what the team will be up to in the latest movie. Unlike in the first film, there will be some new members added to the team.

Previous trailers focused on the comedy segments of both Drax and Baby Groot. This latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2 trailer looks at the team as a whole. One of the best aspects of the movie's marketing is that no major story spoilers are given. We still don't know why the team has to save the galaxy again.

The only kind of spoiler detailed in this trailer is our first look at Kurt Russell in the movie as Ego.

Russell plays the father of Peter Quill as shown at the end of the trailer. It will be interesting to see how Peter Quill reacts to this as he never knew who is father was growing up as a kid.

We also get to see the new members of the team as Mantis, Yondu and Nebula have joined the others.

The latter two are interesting since they were kind of bad guys in the first movie. The team must be facing up against a major threat if they are both on the same team this time around.

Things will get bigger with Avengers: Infinity War out next year. The big threat looming in the background is Thanos and it will require every MCU character to take him down.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 could give us some clues on how Thanos will finally get all the power he needs to take over the Universe.
