The WWE usually likes to induct celebrities that have appeared on their shows in the past to be in their Hall of Fame. Normally this is done to get some extra media attention.

With that in mind, this year's celebrity inductee is none other than Kid Rock.

Kid Rock will sound familiar to WWE fans because he provided the theme song for The Undertaker back in the year 2000.

The song Kid Rock sung was called "American Bad Ass" and it fit the new gimmick of The Undertaker perfectly.

The Undertaker used the theme song for a couple of months until he decided to change it to Limp Bizit's 'Rollin' song in 2001.

Now The Undertaker is back to his older gimmick and has not used a rock song for his theme since 2004.

WWE.com also noted that he provided a theme song for Stacey Kiebler several years ago as well. He also provided theme songs for many WWE PPV events such as WrestleMania 25, WrestleMania XXX and more.

At WrestleMania 25, he actually appeared in person to sing the theme songs for the event. Thanks to him taking part in many WWE events, the company is celebrating his involvement by inducting him into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame.

This year's event also includes "Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson".

Kid Rock is a better celebrity inductee than comedian Drew Carey who somehow got in just for only one five minute appearance at Royal Rumble 2001...

The celebrity Hall of Fame inductees are not without its own critics though. Many wrestling fans feel it's a waste of time and just a publicity stunt to help promote WWE and WrestleMania each year.
