The MTV VMA's is set for August 24th and the nominees have been announced for the 10 categories not to mention the six professional categories.

Video of the Year nominees include "Drunk In Love" by Beyonce featuring Jay Z, "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX, "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus, "Happy" by Pharrell Williams and "Chandelier" by Sia.

The competition will be extremely heavy for this nomination as all of the songs were major hits this year.

Best Male Video nominees include "Sing" by Ed Sheeran featuring Pharrell, "Monster" by Eminem featuring Rihanna, "All Of Me" by John Legend, "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith and Pharrell's "Happy" grabs a second nomination.

The Best Female category is always one of the most competitive categories and this year is no exception as the hot young talent Ariana Grande, the always popular Beyonce (hopefully Kanye doesn't interrupt the winner should she lose, finger crossed), Iggy Azalea whose hit "Fancy" is blasted through the radio daily, Katy Perry's hit "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J and "Royals" by Lorde who is still riding the momentum of her album "Pure Heroine."
