MTV has released a short preview on what is to be featured in its new TV show called "The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros". This show pits previous "The Challenge" winners against many professional athletes from several different sporting disciplines.

The preview does not show too much, although you can tell that there will be a lot of trash talking.

Former WWE Superstar and current UFC Fighter CM Punk is featured in the preview when a contestant tries to out trash talk him.

The contestant isn't going to be successful because CM Punk's professional wrestling days helped him to trash talk better than many other people around the world.

Aside from CM Punk, other famous names in the show include: Candice Wiggins, Gus Kenworthy, Kamerion Wimbley, Lindsey Jacobellis, Lolo Jones, Louie Vito, Louise Hazel, Shawne Merriman and Tia Blanco. The premiere of the show airs on MTV on May 16th, 2017.

It will run for only six episodes and the show is being hosted by Victor Cruz who used to play in the NFL. Contestants are competing for a chance to win $50,000 for their chosen charity.

The show is similar to Spike TV's old show called Pros vs. Joes. That show aired from 2006 until 2010 and that pitted average joes up against professional athletes.

The contestants had to try and beat the professionals in many athletic competitions.

Most of the athletes that were chosen had already retired from their respective sports to try and makes things "fair". That being said though, the professionals were still very good compared to the average contestants.

Anyway, you can watch a video from MTV's new The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros TV show below. Do you think the normal contestants will be able to beat the legit athletes at their own game?
