Ever since Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington passed away last year, many fans have been wondering about the future of the band.

Well now Mike Shinoda has commented briefly that we may not have seen the end of the band yet.

Mike Shinoda was interviewed by Billboard recently where he was promoting his upcoming solo album.

He talks briefly about the situation of Linkin Park and he has been talking to the other members to possibly get the band back together again. You can read his comments on the matter down below.

"We'll let everybody know when there's a clear message. We all have different, varying degrees of interest and stamina right now, and I don't want to hold anybody to anything they can't or they don't want to do. We still talk all the time. I joined Dave (Farrell) for his Member Guest podcast, and I just shot some emails back and forth to Joe [Hahn]. We're always talking.."

It sounds like Mike Shinoda is keen to get the band back together, but it seems like it will have to be in their own terms when everyone else is ready.

For now, he wants to concentrate on his solo album first.

It remains to be seen if Linkin Park will be back together with a new singer replacing Chester Bennington.

Mike Shinoda could always replace him and sing all of their older material, although his voice sounds much different compared to the late Bennington.
