Marvel Entertainment Announces The Black Panther Digital HD And Blu-ray Release Date

Marvel Entertainment has now announced the official release date for when you can buy Black Panther via Digital HD, DVD, Blu-ray and UHD 4K Blu-ray. The movie will be out for you to bring home as soon as next month.

Marvel Entertainment posted the official announcement over on its Twitter page. You can read the full announcement for it down below.

"Experience the worldwide phenomenon. Be the first to bring home Marvel Studios’ #BlackPanther on Digital, #MoviesAnywhere, and 4K UHD May 8 and Blu-ray May 15:"

Marvel listed on its official website the full list of versions you can buy the movie on. This includes Digital HD, 4K UHD Blu-ray steelbook, DVD, normal Blu-ray and other retail exclusives with special packaging.

Sadly, there's no mention of what the home version of the movie will include in terms of special features yet. It's rumored the movie will have some deleted scenes as well as the usual behind the scenes footage.

Black Panther released earlier this year to be the highest grossing movie of 2018 to date. It has earned close to $1.3 billion worldwide and is the third highest grossing film in American history with a domestic gross of over $650 million.

Marvel is not stopping there because the studio has the potential to make even more money later this month when Avengers: Infinity War drops in cinemas on April 27th, 2018. There's a chance even more Box Office records will be broken.
