Marvel To Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary In A Special Event In Australia

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the MCU which started back in 2008 with the release of the first Iron Man movie.

To celebrate the franchise in style, Marvel has announced it will hold a special event in Australia for fans to attend.

The event is being held at Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia on March 3rd, 2018. You can read more official details posted below as posted on the official Marvel Facebook page. 

Come down and celebrate the first 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the lead up to Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War at a free event at Melbourne’s Federation Square and ACMI.

There will be a wide range of activities for all ages, including costume competitions with prizes, a Marvel training camp, Marvel Nerf Action Zone, create your own Marvel comic, and live entertainment.

You could also be one of the first to get your hands on exclusive new Avengers: Infinity War products which will be on sale at the Marvel pop-up shop. Stay tuned - more to be revealed!

The event starts at 12pm and lasts until 5pm. The fact that the event is happening on a Saturday means kids and adults of all ages can attend in order to try and get the latest Avengers: Infinity War merchandise. 

Marvel is a powerhouse in the movie industry as it has yet to show any signs of franchise fatigue. Black Panther just came out and is making as much money as the new Star Wars films!

With Avengers: Infinity War out very soon, there's a good chance the film could challenge Star Wars: The Force Awakens or even Titanic and Avatar as one of the highest grossing movies of all time.
