Marvel Announces A Ton Of New Movies And TV Shows At SDCC

Marvel Studios may have ended its first three phases, but now they are on to their fourth phase. This fourth phase will include not only movies, but several TV shows too!

Their announcement at the 2019 SDCC tells us all of the new movies and TV shows that they will release in the years of 2020 and 2021. That's not all because there will also be more movies released beyond that.

Below is a list of all the TV shows and movies that Marvel is making within the next two years.

TV SERIES

  • HAWKEYE – Series starring Jeremy Renner that will also introduce Kate Bishop. Releasing Fall 2021
  • WHAT IF…? – Animated series featuring Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher. Releasing Summer 2021
  •  LOKI – Series starring Tom Hiddleston, releasing spring 2021
  • WANDAVISION – Series starring Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and Teyonah Parris. Releasing Spring 2021 (
  • THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER – Series starring Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Daniel Bruhl. Releasing Fall 2020 (Spring in NZ)

FILMS

  •  DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS – Doctor Strange sequel with Benedict Cumberpatch and Elizabeth Olson, releasing May 7 2021.
  • SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS – Film starring Simu Liu, Akwafina and Tony Leung. Releasing February 12 2021.
  • THE ETERNALS - Film with Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh and Don Lee. Releasing November 6 2020
  • THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER – Thor sequel with Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman. Releasing November 5 2021.
  • BLACK WIDOW – Film starring Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbele and Rachel Weisz. Releasing May 1 2020
  • BLADE - Film with Mahershala Ali release date TBC.

Also revealed at the panel are four movies without definite release dates. These movies include Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and even a rebooted Fantastic Four!
