Martin Garrix, the groundbreaking 17 year old has added even more accolades to his already growing number of awards and accomplishments while attending the Miami Music Week.

His monster smash hit "Animals" reached the RIAA Platinum status in the US for one million sales. He also became the youngest DJ ever to play the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival.

On top of that, he received three International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) for Best Electro / Progressive track for his single "Animals", Best Break-Through DJ and Best Break-Through Artist.

Again, no DJ under 18 has accomplished this, ever! After his #1 hit in the UK with "Animals", his follow up single "Wizard", a collaboration with Jay Hardway, entered the Official UK charts at #7 last Sunday.

Last but not least, he just won a prestigious Edison Award in his native country The Netherlands for Best Dance track. "This week was insane!! So unreal, still can't believe it," Garrix explained of his time at Miami Music Week.
