Superhero movies are dominating the marketplace right now, although there are some fears that there are too many of them right now.

Mark Hamill has how spoken about his opinion on the state of Hollywood now with all the superhero movies coming out.

Hamill gave his opinion during a recent interview with USA Today.

Even though he's still a fan of the superhero genre, he feels that many of them need to have unique stories to stand out or else all of them might feel the same. You can read his comments posted below.

I don't know what's going on with superhero movies. They're fantastic, but I think we're reaching a point of oversaturation. So that's why the story is so important, is that the gimmicks and all that, they can only take you so far. That's what I want, better stories

Hamill may have been referring to many superhero films that focus on a bad guy invading the planet and trying to take over the world.

Those types of storylines have been done too many times that it's starting to get boring.

To be fair though, more recent comic book superhero movies have tried to change up the linear storylines. We saw this last year when heroes tried to beat each other up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War.

Not to mention this year's Logan offered a more personal story that was heartbreaking. Wonder Woman was also pretty cool due to its World War 1 setting.

I'm a fan of superhero films, but hopefully the oversaturation doesn't hurt them too much.

Marvel is already planning phase 4 of the MCU to be different as the future stories might all take place in space. Not to mention Black Panther doesn't look generic.
