Lupe Fiasco and Ty Dolla $ign team up to bring us 'Next To It' video

"Next To It" combines a funky instrumental, technical rapper, and smooth crooner to create a summer banger.

Lupe Fiasco is one of the most intellectual rapper of our time who brought us hits like "Hip - Hop Saved My Life" and "The Show Goes On," while Ty Dolla $ign brought us the commercially succesful Beach House EP this January which propelled him to new heights.

Ty Dolla $ign has been pulling out all the stops ever since by getting hot features on his tracks and Lupe is simply the latest to jump on the band wagon.

What sets this collab apart from Ty Dolla $ign's usual music is that he isn't teaming up with a rapper known for his club hits.

Lupe Fiasco always seems to portray a message in his songs often picking the opportunity to deliver an important message to his audience over dumbing his music down to receive a fat check.

He is a politically minded rapper who is never afraid to voice his opinion, a quality that has often gotten him into arguments with others, like Bill O'Reilly for example.

However, that moral code is what Lupe has built his career around and he still promises to stick to his guns in his newest song.
