Singer-songwriter, Lukas Graham and his band have made it to the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart after spending last week at the number three spot.

The group out of Copenhagen, Denmark is making their mark on the mainstream market with their soulful alternative sound. The only artist standing in their way at the number one spot is Rihanna's hit "Work" featuring Drake.

It will be a pretty big task to get "7 Years" to the number one spot as Rihanna has been holding strong for six weeks.

They did however, manage to take the number two spot from Justin Bieber and his hit "Love Yourself." Lukas Graham will also have to watch out for Meghan Trainor who is pretty close to breaking into the top five.

Lukas Graham is set to release their self-titled debut album on Friday, April 1. So far the band has released three additional singles titled, "Mama Said," "Drunk In The Morning" and "You're Not There." The music is a mixture of feel good hits and relatable tracks pointing out what it's like growing up and trying to become a famous singer.

The band has come quite a way and they seem to just be getting started.

We'll have a full review of the debut album upon it's release. Let us know if you're excited for the album in the comments section below.
