There was a certain era where Lil Wayne reigned supreme and solidified himself as one of the greatest lyricists in Hip-Hop. In his new freestyle "What You Sayin," Wayne revisits that era and it looks like he's going for the top spot again.

"The other day, we received a new Tunechi record by way of DJ-E-Feezy, 'What You Sayin,' with that classic Busta Rhymes sample of 'Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See,'" according to HotNewHipHop.

Wayne breeds new life into the classic sample but does it justice in many ways. He's know for his abilities to spit some pretty funny or serious punchlines depending on the nature of the song. This one is a straight classic style where he's being pretty braggadocios. Wayne is still about the money and he reminds us every chance he gets in the new track.

It will be interesting to see what Wayne has in store for the rest of the year as well as in 2016 when it comes to new music. You can listen to the "What You Sayin" here.
