Led Zeppelin Will Release An Alternate Version Of 'Stairway To Heaven' For Reissue Project

Led Zeppelin is set to release a reissue album in October which will contain an alternate version of their hit song "Stairway to Heaven," according to NY Daily News.

"It's part of the huge reissue project for Led Zeppelin, which began in June with the release of alternate takes on the storied band's first three albums," said the article.

"They'll be followed on October 27th with alterna-views of the untitled, fourth Led Zeppelin album (commonly referred to as "Led Zeppelin 4") and "Houses of the Holy."

"Going To California" and "The Battle of Evermore," will also be revised with more guitar and mandolin.

"Houses of The Holy" will also contain "The Ocean" and "Dancing Days." Fans can expect these revised alternate versions to hit all formats on October 27th which is not too far away.
