The time has come for Hakkasan to announce their new resident DJ's for the 2014 year. The famous $100 million Las Vegas super club is located at the MGM Grand and opened in last April.

The stakes have been raised as Hakkasan announced new members to the residency family.

Last week, Billboard reported that Hakkasan will be the new home to a few electronic music artists including Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and W&W will be joining current and returning residents Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Hardwell and Calvin Harris.

Other artiss planning to return to Hakkasan include Dada Life and Danny Avila. Maareten Hoogstraten, one half of Bingo Players, will also continue to perform live DJ sets even following the death of his partner, Paul Baumer.

Afrojack, who will be leaving his residency run at XS to join the other big names at Hakkasan stated, "I've been home for four years at XS, where I had a great time.

But Hakkasan provided me with the option to try something new in a new venue, so I'm looking forward to trying a new kind of party there."

Last year, Afrojack's residency at XS was featured in The New Yorker, detailing the process Hakkasan goes by to seek out big-name DJ's in the electronic music industry for their line up.

The article read, "Hakkasan had sent personalized pitch books to the Wynn DJ's it wanted to poach: Tiesto, Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Afrojack.

The books described the perks that a Hakkasan residency would offer, including chauffeured Mayback limousine, access to a fleet of private jets and a two-story Skyloft suite with a butler." This mega nightclub is also known to offer more money to their resident DJ's than other nightclubs on the strip.

Here's to looking forward to an amazing upcoming year with new big-names added to the lineup of DJ superstars at Hakkasan!
