Kurt Angle retired from WWE last week wrestling his final match at WrestleMania 35 against Baron Corbin of all people. Now the man has spoken more about WWE's weird decision to make him lose to a guy like the aforementioned Corbin.

Kurt Angle discussed more about this topic over on his official Facebook page.

He didn't have any power to decide his opponent and he also wasn't allowed to win in his final match. You can read what he had to say posted down below.

"Honestly? My Wrestlemania 35 match. I would have liked to go out with a win, but I understand why it didn’t occur. Many people believe that I should have had a different opponent. Maybe. Maybe not. But my argument as to why it should have been Corbin is pretty strong. As a HOFer and Legend in WWE, I came to my final match last Sunday. It was my retirement match. As a legend or HOFer or- whatever you want to call me, my job is to leave the WWE by doing the honors for a younger talent. I did that. I would have loved to have won, but I don’t think I would have properly played my role if I did. You leave the company better than it was before you came. I think I was able to do that by losing to Corbin and then getting laid out on Raw the next night to Lars. It may have felt wrong, but it was the right thing to do. Agree to disagree.

Kurt Angle originally wanted John Cena to be his final opponent, but that didn't happen unfortunately.

It's strange WWE didn't allow Angle to choose his final opponent because Batista was able to face Triple H in his last match on the very same night as requested by him.

Angle also mentioned he may have wanted to be more active in early 2017 when his body was more active.

Over the years, his body started to stiffen up which is why he opted to retire this year in the first place.
