Kid Flash Won't Be In Many Episodes Of The Flash Season 5

Kid Flash has already been announced not to be a series regular in season 4 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Now it sounds like the character will also be taking a backseat when season 5 of The Flash returns later this year.

The Flash's showrunner, Todd Helbing, was interviewed by Newsarama and he explained that Kid Flash won't have a big presence in the upcoming season of The Flash. You can read his comments on the matter posted down below.

"You will see Wally in the first episode. He is in three episodes this season. We don’t have as much time with Kid Flash as I think everyone would like to see, but the story we have for him is really cool."

This is sad news for fans of the character as he was already shafted in The Flash Season 4.

The creators of the show don't like using him too often because having too many fast characters on the show means the good guys can beat the bad guys very easily.

It is also worth mentioning that the character of Nora West-Allen is also a speedster in season 5 of The Flash so Kid Flash is further not really needed on the team.

If fans miss him, they could always run a petition so that the show creators change their mind and feature him in more episodes in the near future.
