Celebrities all over are paying their respects to the legendary David Bowie and Kid Cudi is no exception. Cudi is paying tribute to Bowie by playing one of Bowie's most famous tracks, "Starman."

Cudi is just as eccentric as Bowie was and it shows through his experimentation with fashion, as well as the alteration in his music over the years. Fans of Cudi know that he has a connection to space and often references it in his music making "Starman" the perfect song for him to celebrate the life of Bowie.

Bowie recently passed away from cancer, which he had been battling for 18 months, unbeknownst to many.

Cudi even quoted the lyrics from the song on Twitter as he proved that he was in fact blasting the track. Bowie's life, music and his inspirations are being celebrated by everyone from Justin Bieber to The Weeknd as well as radio personality Howard Stern.

Bowie's music was a crucial statement about the future of sound and how reinventing yourself doesn't always have to be a bad thing.

Cudi knows a thing or two about reinventing his sound as he has strayed away from hip-hop and on to a more alternative/grunge style of rock.

The sound was evident in his album Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven. For those who are unfamiliar with Bowie's work, we've included the audio for "Starman" below.
