After retweeting Jada Pinkett Smith's powerful message about acknowledgement in the black community after the Academy overlooked her husband, Will Smith's performance in Concussion, Kid Cudi shared a few wise words of his own.

Jada Pinkett Smith has caught the attention of mainstream media and Kid Cudi after her message involving people of color and the lack of acknowledgement for their artistic accomplishments. It's safe to say that Cudi's retweets were a sign of support and agreement with Smith's sentiments.

However, Cudi's words of advice that followed were not held to people of color. He issued a universal message that was both empowering and inspired peace.

Cudi encouraged his fans to let go of any anger that they hold against someone. He said that holding grudges gives someone else control over your emotions and it's not something anyone else should have. It's a message of peace on a day where a man with the vision of a unified world rooted in love is being celebrated.

Cudi is using his ability to reach his fans in a positive form and it's easy to see why his fans have so much appreciation for him and his art.
