With reports that Disney could be buying 20th Century Fox, there are now finally realistic ambitions for the X-Men to finally join the MCU. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige seems interested if they are able to get the ball rolling.

Feige was asked about the X-Men possibly joining the MCU during a new interview with Vanity Fair. He didn't want to say too much or else his comments would explode as big headlines.

However, the main thing to take away from his comments is that he is interested in a possible collaboration. You can read his comments down below.

Well, the problem is whenever I say anything about it, it becomes 15 headlines. So would we like to? Yeah, of course. Is there any movement toward it at all? No. Same thing. Same status.

20th Century Fox is releasing three movies next year starring Marvel characters. This includes New Mutants, Dark Phoenix as well as Deadpool 2. The latter might be the biggest money earner as the first Deadpool movie did really well last year.

It will be interesting to see what will happen if Disney gets the rights back.

The MCU was able to integrate Spider-Man successfully, although they had to recast the character. It's possible Marvel Studios will reboot the entire X-Men if Disney gets the rights to the characters in the near future.

X-Men and Deadpool aren't the only characters 20th Century Fox owns.

Disney could also get a hold of the Fantastic Four if the sale goes through in the near future. Interesting things might happen for comic book movie fans in the near future!
