Kevin Feige is known to be the famous producer for all of the MCU movies. Now the man is going to tip his hat to the Star Wars franchise soon.

As reported The Hollywood Reporter, Kevin Feige is working with Lucasfilm and Kathleen Kennedy to make his Star Wars movie a reality.

The two producers want to usher in a new era of Star Wars movies after The Rise of Skywalker.

The Rise of Skywalker ends the Skywalker saga at nine movies. Future films are expected to feature new characters and locations.

This is the third post Episode 9 Star Wars project to be announced. Rian Johnson is making his own trilogy while Game of Throne showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are doing their own movie too.

The next Star War movie isn't expected to be out until 2022. Disney wants to give the movies a little break.

For now fans can look forward to many Star Wars TV shows on Disney+. There's The Mandalorian later this year with Cassian Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi tv shows coming soon too.

The future of Star Wars films is looking very healthy at the moment.
