It's 2016 and Kendrick Lamar is already making music headlines with his performance of a new track "Untitled 2" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The new "Untitled 2" continues Lamar's hip-hop and jazz fusion sound with his swift lyrics and addressing social issues along with love riches. The first half of the song is pretty light and upbeat taking on a groovy vibe.

He often mentions the words "Blue Faces" which is why some sites are referring to the track as "Blue Faces" rather than "Untitled 2." Lamar talks about writing the song looking at a broke house and outlines much of the struggles that those in low-income and urban areas are facing.

Towards the second half of "Untitled 2," uses his flow in more of a trap manner and completely goes off it what seemed like a bit of freestyle. It was a performance and lyrical display that was both eye-opening to his talent and pretty much solidified any reasoning for his 11 Grammy Nominations for To Pimp A Butterfly. Lamar is more than just a rapper and the performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is a clear indication of that.
