Well if you ever doubted Kanye West's ability to get his heavily streamed The Life of Pablo album to no. 1, you are dead wrong. Yeezy has gotten an album to number one with releasing physical copies to the public.

"Kanye West scores his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his latest release, The Life of Pablo, arrives atop the list," according to Billboard.

"The set earning 94,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 7, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 28,000 were in pure album sales -- the rest were in streaming equivalent albums."

It's a pretty incredible feat for an artist who choose to avoid releasing a physical copy and who also switched the release method to pure streaming. Kanye's The Life of Pablo was one of his most anticipated projects to date. However, Kanye does have another project planned for summer 2016 titled, Turbo Grafx 16.

It's supposedly another big project with a ton of features including Kid Cudi. Recently, Kanye took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the upcoming ASAP Ferg album, Always Strive and Prosper.
