Even though Joss Whedon is supposed to just do reshoots for Justice League, it sounds like he's doing more than that.

Ben Affleck has stated that the movie is the product of the two directors instead of just the vision of one.

Affleck was recently interviewed by Entertainment Weekly where he gave his thoughts on the direction of the Justice League movie.

He said that they were very lucky to have Whedon on board after Snyder had to leave due to a family tragedy. You can read more on the comments Affleck said below.

[Justice League] an interesting product of two directors, both with kind of unique visions, both with really strong takes. I've never had that experience before making a movie. I have to say, I really love working with Zack, and I really love the stuff we've done with Joss.

Affleck also said that the reshoots don't mean that the movie is in trouble.

He stated that he has done reshoots for other movies he has made in the past such as Argo and Gone Baby Gone. Those reshoots lasted a week and a half and four days respectively.

It will be interesting to see how the movie turns out.

Marvel's Ant-Man turned out fine as that movie was kind of the product of two directors too. Edgar Wright was the original director, but then Peyton Reed came in after Wright left.

If we are talking about DC movies, Superman 2 from 1980 was the product of two directors as well.

Richard Donner shot several parts of the movie, while Richard Lester came in to do some more scenes and to finish off the movie.

Having two different directors can work, so hopefully things turn out fine for the Justice League movie.
