In most other countries, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is on top when it comes to tickets sold for a movie released in 2017.

Well things are different in United Arabs Emirates (UAE) because Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is more popular than Star Wars!

Film journalist William Mullally shared the numbers for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on Twitter and the ticket sales for the film are very impressive. You can read what he had to say posted down below.

#Jumanji starring @TheRock was the #1 film in the UAE, selling another 90,000 tickets for a monstrous 320,000 tickets sold to date. By comparison, #StarWarsTheLastJedi has now sold 154,000 tickets to date. It should soon top #ThorRagnarok, which managed 340k total.

The fact that Jumanji 2 has sold twice as many tickets Star Wars: The Last Jedi is very impressive.

Bear in mind, it's possible the Star Wars brand is not as big in the Middle East which is why the numbers are different than in most other countries.

William Mullally says Jumanji 2 could be on track to sell 1 million tickets in its lifetime inb the whole Middle East matching that of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

A Twitter user named Samantha Rose living in UAE says Jumanji 2 lines were longer than that of the opening night of Fast 5.

Rose also said that sessions for Jumanji 2 have been selling out at the UAE even though it's not even opening weekend anymore.

This goes to show us the star power of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as he rarely has any Box Office flops.

The only disappointment Dwayne Johnson has experienced recently was his film version of Baywatch. The R rated comedy received poor reviews and didn't do too well at the Box Office when it came out in Summer 2017.
