There were more and more stars on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon but that was a given. Last night in particular there was a wide range of guests and powerful ones at that.

Russell Crowe was there promoting his directorial debut 'The Water Diviner', Gov. Chris Christie was around to talk politics, and preforming was Kenny Chesney.

All men tonight but very powerful and outspoken individuals therefore there was no telling what could go down.

Over the years a popular trend for some big time actors is to take a seat in that directors chair. Russell Crowe is best known for his incredible role as Maximus in 'Gladiator' and Noah in 'Noah'. Crowe stars in his newest film 'The Water Diviner' but also directed the film.

The story follows "An Australian man travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli to try and locate his three missing sons." Reviews have been average thus far and a lot of the negative comments surround the story being very predictable and rehashed.

Governor Chris Christie also joined in and he is always in the news making comment after comment. Of course all political news right now center on who is going to run for president in 2016. Christie was one of the big names possible on the Republican side.

As it would turn out though Governor Christie has withheld his name for the time being and all signs point to a Rep. Jeb Bush win.

Kenny Chesney is touring at the moment and is in the northeast. So why not stop by and preform of the Tonight Show.

The country mega star also preformed recently at the ACM awards. His biggest hit right now is "Wild Child' and was one of two songs he preformed this past Sunday.
