By now it's pretty much a given that The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon's Lip Sync Battle is the best late night television segment to date.

Fallon recently faced off against Melissa McCarthy and the result was a couple of legendary performances from the two.

McCarthy has been making her rounds promoting her upcoming film The Boss.

Recently she appeared on the Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show and that evening took on Fallon in a "Lip Sync Battle." Fallon kicked things off with a performance of Melanie's "Brand New Key" and instantly had the fans on his side.

However, McCarthy was ready to bring it and didn't even need the mic for her performance of DMX's "X Gon Give It To Ya."

She completely nailed the performance and served Fallon in the process. Fallon looked extremely scared after seeing what he would have to follow and it didn't seem like he knew how to continue. Fallon joked that "X Gon Give It To Ya" was actually his wedding song.

Fallon knew he had to bring it and decided to perform ZAYN's "Pillowtalk." He almost lulled himself to sleep but the cheers from the fans meant this was a pretty close competition.

McCarthy pretty much solidified her win with "Colors of the Wind" from the Pocahontas soundtrack. Watch Melissa McCarthy and Jimmy Fallon bring it during a "Lip Sync Battle" in the video below.
