It looks like the recent tragedies and turmoil that has come from it has inspired Jay Z to release a new track titled, "Spiritual."

"Spiritual" features one of those heavy beats that will capture your attention. From that point, Jay Z takes the reins and pushes dark lyrics that speak about the many wrongs that are being committed in the world today.

Jay Z admits that he is not poison and is just trying to do good in life. He also left a message on the Tidal homepage along with the track. The letter reads as follows:

"I made this song a while ago, I never got to finish it.

Punch (TDE) told me I should drop it when Mike Brown died, sadly I told him, "this issue will always be relevant." I'm hurt that I knew his death wouldn't be the last......

I'm saddened and disappointed in THIS America - we should be further along.

WE ARE NOT.

I trust God and know everything that happens is for our greatest good, but man.... it's tough right now.

Blessings to all the families that have lost loved ones to police brutality."

Jay Z says that peeling back his layers is the hardest thing he has ever done. Additional, he uses a slightly altered version of the famous "hands up, don't shoot" chant which seems to address the recent shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

The shootings led to protests and just recently, five police officers were killed in Dallas at a peaceful protest that turn into a tumultuous setting with a sniper who was going after police.

Jay Z battles with how he will be able to raise his daughter in these truly tumultuous times. You can listen to/stream Jay Z's "Spiritual" in the audio below.
