Critics have been raving about the film Room and its young star Jacob Tremblay. Tremblay paid a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres to talk about the film and some of the awards he has been nominated for.

It was Tremblay's first time on the Degeneres show and he admitted that he was pretty nervous because it was his favorite show as well as his sister and mother. DeGeneres praised Tremblay for his performance because of the "heavy acting" involved.

Tremblay was nominated for a SAG award and actually took home a Critic's Choice award for his performance in the film.

During his acceptance speech at the Critic's Choice Awards, he couldn't reach the microphone he needed to stand on a booster. He even got a chance to meet Leonardo DiCaprio and told DeGeneres how he skipped the line of people waiting to meet him. DeGeneres also pointed out that Tremblay's parents are drawing some attention as well, mainly his father, who some are calling "hot dad." Tremblay has some pretty big aspirations for the future.

He will be presenting at the 2016 Oscars. You can check out the full interview below.

Room recently released in the U.S. and has a pretty impressive rating of 8.3/10 on IMDB. The film features some pretty heavy subject matter but Tremblay's performance was pretty spectacular.
