How to Train Your Dragon 3 Tops The Box Office

The third How to Train Your Dragon movie called 'How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World' is the top movie this weekend at the Box Office.

Another new release this weekend was the wrestling movie called 'Fighting with My Family'.

Anyway, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World topped the Box Office earning $55.5 million in its opening weekend over in North America. The movie did better than its predecessors which earned $43.7 million and $49.4 million respectively.

Word of mouth should carry this movie over the coming weeks as it has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 92%. The Audience Score is also pretty decent with a rating of over 89%.

The worldwide tally for the movie so far is $274.9 million. The movie will get a boost next week when it releases over in China.

The second movie on this list this week is Alita: Battle Angel. The popular movie earned $12 million in North America in its second weekend. The movie opened in China to an amazing $62.3 million outing in the Middle Kingdom.

Globally, the movie has now earned $263.3 million worldwide. The worldwide total will help 20th Century Fox as the movie cost close to $200 million to make.

The other new release this week is the expansion for the movie called 'Fighting with My Family' produced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. This is the movie based on the life of real life WWE Superstar Paige.

In North America the movie exceeded expectations to earn over $8 million in its opening weekend. The movie should to well in the coming weeks to come thanks to a high 91% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes.
