Toei Animation has now released episode 1 of the Dragon Ball Heroes anime and it's quite short, but shows a lot of promise.

Sadly at this stage, we can only watch the Japanese dub only as English subtitles have yet to be made.

While I cannot decipher exactly what is going on in the episode, a kind YouTube user has uploaded the full episode.

It looks like episodes will be short in the Dragon Ball Heroes anime because the first episode only runs for just over eight minutes.

As promised, we do get a glimpse of Super Saiyan Blue Goku fighting Super Saiyan 4 Goku for the very first time.

Although the fight itself is very short, it seems as if both fighters are evenly matched and have similar power levels.

Sadly, their fight does not last very long though.

There isn't much action in this first episode as most of the time it's the villainous Fu talking all of the time. Vegeta and Mai are also with Goku, while Trunks looks like he's trapped on an entirely different planet.

Speaking of a different planet, Cooler is also here with Trunks on this new place. As you might know already, Cooler is the older brother of Frieza and he's looks very powerful.

We will try and update this post on we know exactly what is going on with the story.

That said, Dragon Ball Heroes is not really canon to the main Dragon Ball Super timeline so you don't need to worry too much about how weird the plot becomes.

Anyway, you can watch the episode for yourself down below thanks to the YouTube video. Again, only a Japanese audio is available at the moment as translations are yet to be done in English.
