As promised, Jon Bellion has delivered the first single off his forthcoming debut album. The single is titled, "Guillotine" and features that classic Bellion style that is very radio friendly.
"Guillotine" is a funky, dare we say, dance track where Bellion fuses impressive lyrics and delivery over some pretty incredible production.
The breakdowns in the song are reminiscent of classic Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake collaborations but don't be fooled by the comparison, Bellion has a style that is all his own.
If anything his artistry comes from some of the classic music he grew up on combined with his own special way of coming sounds, lyrics and layers to create astonishingly special pieces.
Bellion has been teasing new music for quite some time now and "Guillotine" is a sign that there is more to come soon. Beautiful Mind member Travis Mendes also shines in his feature on the single and shows just when he and Bellion make an incredible team.
After years of giving fans free albums such as The Separation and The Definition, Bellion is ready to take the next step in his career with an official debut album.
