"Most people already know that I've been dealing with addiction on and off for a decent chunk of my professional career and well before," said McCoy in an E-Mail response to Complex on the new freestyle.

"This seemed like the last go-round for me.

Although I've come to realize that this is something I'm going to have to deal with for the remainder of my life, I also realized that I didn't have to go through it alone."

It's a well done lyrical piece of imagery that takes fans through the motions that McCoy went through before he took the steps to getting sober.

McCoy is an underrated lyricist but his music with Gym Class Heroes is some serious stuff. This freestyle is a reminder to fans that he is still a great artist all while explaining his struggle with addiction in the past.
