Goldberg Promises His Match With Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 33 Isn't Going To Suck

There has been some criticism towards Goldberg's return to the WWE. Mainly fans don't like his matches literally ending with only two moves. Goldberg has now spoken out on the criticisms and promises that his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 33 won't be a disappointment.

If you did not know already, Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar happened at WrestleMania XX back in 2004 and the fans hated that match.

It was slow, boring and lacked any type of action. Their rematch at Survivor Series 2016 was just a squash match with Goldberg beating Brock Lesnar in under two minutes.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar III is expected to be the main event of WrestleMania 33 and fans are hoping/expecting it to be better than their previous efforts.

Goldberg talked about his upcoming match during the Edge and Christian's Podcast of Awesomeness. You can read his comments on the match below.

I going to do at the end of the day what people want to see. Hopefully at Wrestlemania 33, I'm able to bring out some stuff that I haven't shown, that I haven't been able to do because of constraints. I don't think we are going to catch each other by surprise. I think it's going to be a blood-fest. It's going to be a knock-down, drag-out war.

Whether it will be a "blood-fest" remains to be seen. The WWE banned blood in its matches several years ago, aside from a few exceptions. Hopefully the match is brutal and action packed.

People aren't just critical of Goldberg now either. Even Brock Lesnar himself has had boring matches recently. Some fans are getting sick of Lesnar just spamming german suplexes all of the time.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar should deliver at WrestleMania 33, because the fans are likely to boo them out of the building if they are not satisfied with what they see.
