"Godhead is defined as the nature of God, for us, that's music," Jason Miller, lead singer and songwriter of the band Godhead stated.

Come late April, Godhead, an electronic and industrial pioneer band from Los Angeles and an artist of Warrior Records, will be releasing a new remix album.

The band was first introduced to the music scene by Marilyn Manson and has spent time touring alongside him, as well as Linkin Park, Slipknot, Disturbed and Black Sabbath, and has even been featured on the soundtrack for 'Queen of the Damned' and has been featured on MTV for their successful music videos.

Godhead's remix album 'The Shadow Realigned' is set to be released on April 29th and will include 14 remixes from 14 different producers.

"I also went back into the vault and finished three unreleased tracks, the Godhead original "To Heal" and two covers: "Never Let Me Down Again" and "God of Thunder" by Depeche Mode and Kiss.

You can't really get any more diverse than that, I can't wait for you to hear it," Miller explained of the new remix album release.

The band formed during the mid 90's and since then has been known as an influential hard rock band.

"One part industrial, one part goth, one part metal - Godhead was never easy to define," a recent press release described the band's unqiue genre and sound.

"We had elements of so many differents ounds in our early days that it actually worked to our advantage. We could open for almost anyone and find a way to fit in. People hear what they SEE live so, opening for a goth band? Throw on the eyeliner and play our moodiest songs.

Metal band? Wipe off the eyeliner and play our heaviest songs. Industrial band? Smear on the eyeliner AND play our heaviest songs," Miller stated of his band's performances. "We always wore all black, so wardrobe change was never necessary."

The band has since gained much success and support from other huge metal, industrial and goth bands in the industry.

Their new release is bound to please fans of these specific music genres, as well as intrique others.

For a taste of what Godhead has in store for fans and listeners with the release of 'The Shadow Realigned', watch the music video for "Your End of Days (Jamison Boaz Remix)" here! The band definitely has a much harder sound than what I am used to listening to, but the remix release is bound to be more eclectic with an electronic background sound, something different and progressive for metal music.
