The uber-talented Sabrina Carpenter has been going big with her music lately.

With the full release of her new album EVOLution just days away, there are serious questions about the future of her show Girl Meets World. And now there's additional reason to worry.

Girl Meets World: Where's Sabrina Carpenter?

If you look carefully at Sabrina Carpenter's social media postings across all sites, you'll notice something very interesting: Sabrina hasn't posted anything about Girl Meets World since early August.

Unlike Rowan Blanchard, Ben Savage, the GMW writers, or the other characters, who consistently promote the new episodes every Friday, Sabrina has not promoted one episode for several months.

Now clearly, Sabrina Carpenter has other things she wants to focus on now, given her huge (and really good) album that's partially already out, and her upcoming tour.

But stars are expected (if not contractually mandated) to post no social media about new episodes. Sabrina's reticence raises questions.

Curiously, Sabrina has been promoting her new Disney animated show, Milo Murphy's Law.

Even her posts that aren't about her music career haven't been about Girl Meets World. For example:

So Where Are We With Girl Meets World?

First: one thing needs to be clarified. Contrary to what's been written in other publications, the show HAS NOT officially been cancelled.

We will not know about the future of Girl Meets World until Disney announces updates at the end of the year.

But we can look at the writing on the wall, and it's not good. Sabrina Carpenter's not talking about new episodes on social media is concerning, leaving us to wonder if she thinks the show won't be around much longer.

Worse still, are the Girl Meets World season 3 ratings.

The third season started with the worst ratings of any season on the show. According to TVByTheNumbers, the first episode of GMW had over 5 million viewers, but recent episodes are much closer to 1 million.

Some have conjectured that Girl Meets World will move to Freeform TV (formerly ABC Family), however there is no evidence to support that.

At this point, we are very much expecting this to be the last season of Girl Meets World.
