Actor George Takei who played Sulu on the original Star Trek TV series sat in on Howard Stern's SiriusXM Radio Show and discussed a world of topics including his feud with William Shatner.

Stern started the show with congratulating Takei on his musical Allegiance.

"Howard said he heard George put up a million of his own money," according to MarksFriggin.

"George asked where he heard that. Howard asked how much he's worth. George said he's not sure. Howard guessed 12 million. George said it could be. Howard said that not many people put up their own money for something like this."

Stern raved about the play and said that Takei did a very good job in it. The Stern crew said that Takei is doing 8 shows a week and plays an 80-year-old war veteran.

Takei has 1.76 million followers on Twitter and Stern said that he has an entire team working on the page.

Later on in the show Stern and Takei spoke about a feud between Takei and his Star Trek co-star William Shatner.

"Howard said Shatner must be jealous. George said that he was in Australia doing a one man show and he said something to get the feud going," according to MF.

"George said he thinks that he's a very disturbed man. George said Shatner also thinks that he hasn't seen him in years but he just saw him a few months ago. Howard asked why he would help him out when he asks for help.

George said he's a Buddhist and that's what they do. Howard said the feud might be good for both of them.

Takei follows Shatner on Twitter however Shatner doesn't follow him back.

"He said he sent Bill a hand written invitation asking him to come to the Allegiance play but all he heard was from his assistant saying that they got the invitation.Howard asked if Bill could sit through the play.

George said he doesn't know. George said he never responds to anything that they invite him to," according to MF.
