Well it's no surprise that there is another long-standing Game of Thrones character who has been killed off on the show.

This is a major spoiler so if you haven't watched the most recent episode don't read on. Jimmy Kimmel Live offered the producers a chance to apologize for the death of Hodor and the result is hilarious.

Kimmel filled fans in on the most recent mishap on the show which happened to be Hodor being left behind to "hold the door" so that Bran could escape the White Walkers.

So, to finally have a chance to address the fans and apologize for killing off a character, the Jimmy Kimmel Live show had producers D.W. Weiss and David Benioff create an apology video.

Weiss and Benioff did not apologize for killing off Hodor, instead, they apologized for all of the idiots who will be shouting "Hodor" every time you go through a door.

They presented an example and said they forgot how annoying people could be.

So instead of apologizing for all of the over 700 main characters from the show, they apologize for all of the annoyance that it will likely cause whenever you have to "hold the door."

You can watch the Game of Thrones producer's heartfelt apology in the video below.
