This summer, the box office is flooding with remakes of popular movies. Whether or not they'll actually meet fans' expectations, is hard to say, but the trailers sure look intriguing!

Here's a few that I'm personally curious to see:

Godzilla (May 16th)

The famed reptilian monster is getting a Hollywood reboot this year. Later this month, we'll see him hit screens around the U.S., alongside big names like Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, David Strathairn, and Juliette Binoche.

Teenage Mutant Turtles (August 7th)

The turtles get a CGI makeover later this summer in a live-action adventure. Fans of the popular 80s cartoon have been up in arms about the direction Jonathan Liebesman has purportedly been taking.

They'll be getting Megan Fox though, so they shouldn't be complaining too much.

Maleficent (May 30th)

The classic Disney villainess is getting revamped for director Robert Stromberg's remake of "Sleeping Beauty." We were thrilled to find out that Angelina Jolie will be playing the vindictive queen.

We think her performance will rival Charlize Theron's in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Hercules (July 25th)

Duane "The Rock" Johnson will grace the big screen one again, this time playing the legendary Greek hero.

This will be the second time this year that someone has put out a movie about Hercules. We hope this version fares better than Renny Harlin's flop, "The Legend of Hercules," that came out back in January.
