Flipps announces a partnership with Rhapsody International where Flipps users can now stage dive into original video content from Rhapsody and Napster that spans hot new releases, exclusive interviews, and live performances from favorite artists.

Rhapsody and Napster are among the fastest growing digital music services with their total paid subscriber base increasing 63 percent year over year.

Flipps recently secured $2.4M in funding from Tim Draper and Earlybird Venture Capital, among other investors, to support its rapidly growing customer base of 10M users and expand its premium content library of over 100 channels.

The partnership offers anyone with the Flipps application the ability to easily discover and project original video content produced by Rhapsody from artists such as Jason Mraz, Kaskade, Tim McGraw, and Miguel on to any connected TV using only their mobile device.

The Flipps patented technology immediately works with over 250M connected TVs and is compatible with over 5,000 manufacturer models requiring no set up, no pairing of devices, no cables, no dongle and no set top box.

With Flipps' innovative technology, Rhapsody and Napster are able to scale quickly to reach an even larger audience.

"Enabling Rhapsody and Napster on Flipps is another example of our commitment to giving millions of music lovers more ways to easily enjoy the music content they love in the comfort of their own home without interruption," said Paul Springer, Rhapsody International's SVP of Americas and Chief Product Officer.

In the US, Rhapsody subscribers are listening to nearly 35 hours of music per month. In less than one year, the global music catalog size surpassed 32 million tracks with nearly 30,000 songs being added daily.

"This partnership adds to our depth of music programming to super-serve Flipps users who are passionate about music.

Music fans can now enjoy their favorite Rhapsody and Napster music content on a big screen TV straight from the Flipps mobile feed," said Michael Patellis, SVP of Partnerships for Flipps.
