The CW is nearing the end of the season for many of their biggest series and both The Flash and Arrow will be wrapping up the same week as their counterpart Supergirl as well.

The episode description for Supergirl was already released, but now we have an idea of what we can expect from both The Flash and Arrow.

The Flash's season three finale titled "Finish Line" will be airing on Tuesday, May 23 and should wrap up the ongoing Savitar plot that saw him getting unmasked last week. The episode description released by the CW doesn't reveal much though.

SEASON FINALE - With nothing left to lose, Barry (Grant Gustin) takes on Savitar in an epic conclusion to season three. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#323). Original airdate 5/23/2017.

Coming a day after that is the finale for Arrow's fifth season that has a lot more spoilery description.

It's nothing new for those that have been keeping up with details of who's been on set and such, but those only watching the show might want to avoid the following episode description for "Lian Yu" that airs on Wednesday, May 24.

DEATHSTROKE, NYSSA AL GHUL, MERLYN AND DIGGER HARKNESS JOIN OLVER'S BATTLE AGAINST PROMETHEUS -- The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) culminates in a final epic battle on Lian Yu. After recent events, Oliver decides to recruit a group of unlikely allies -- Slade (guest star Manu Bennett), Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law), Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Digger Harkness (guest star Nick E. Tarabay) -- to defeat Chase. However, Chase has his own army - Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy), Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) and Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig) -- and the forces collide in an explosive season finale. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Marc Guggenheim (AR523). Original air date 5/24/2017.

There's definitely quite a lot more detail in the Arrow description than the one for The Flash, but I'm sure both will have plenty of action and hopefully finish off both series well.

The CW DC shows struggled for the most part with their finales last season, so the goal is to stick the landing better for both shows this year.
