Warner Bros has now released a new five minute preview for Aquaman which is out later this year. The preview shows that the movie will have a lot of humor and will be the brightest looking movie in the DCEU.
Don't worry too much because the five minute preview does not spoil too many details about the film.
We mainly see one humorous scene where Arthur Curry and Mera are talking while the second scene they're running away from bad guys on rooftops.
A criticism of DCEU movies lately have been that they are too serious and the movies literally look dark with bad CGI. Aquaman looks much brighter and has a lighter tone. Not to mention the movie will have lots of CGI for the underwater scenes.
Anyway, you can read a small synopsis for the movie posted down below.
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
Aside from Jason Momoa, other actors in the film are Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem DaFoe, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman and Temuera Morrison.
You can check out the five minute preview video below. The Aquaman movie releases in North America on December 21st, 2018.
