As you might know already, Disney is making a live-action version of The Lion King due out in the Summer of 2019. Disney has now released the first trailer for the remake and it's looking really good.

The Lion King 2019 is supposedly "live-action", although real animals were not used since it's hard to train African wildlife.

The movie instead uses CGI to make the animals and Africa look photo-realistic. The end result is stunning because the CGI really looks true to the real thing.

The new Lion King trailer does not feature any dialogue, but the teaser shows us scenes that were replicated from the first movie.

Disney has done its homework as the new trailer features the same poses and camera angles from the 1994 original. Anyway, you can read a short synopsis of the movie posted below.

"From Disney Live Action, director Jon Favreau’s all-new “The Lion King” journeys to the African savanna where a future king must overcome betrayal and tragedy to assume his rightful place on Pride Rock."

It will pretty much have the same plot as the original, so don't expect to see many changes. Only the voices have changed, although James Earl Jones returns to play Mufasa.

The full voice cast includes: " Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Keegan-Michael Key, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and James Earl Jones".

The Lion King releases on July 19th, 2019 in North America. The live action movie should make a lot of money at the Box Office because the original is beloved by lots of people.
