On tonight's season finale of MTV's hit show "Finding Carter," Carter uncovers some dark secrets while relationships between characters reach their breaking points.

Last episode ended with Crash being arrested by Liz, Max's eyes seeming to flutter open while he has been in a coma since his gunshot wound, and Carter's relationships with her family becoming more positive. Tonight's episode began with Carter looking up the numbers left in the abandoned house by Lori; it turns out they were a zip code for a mail company. Carter visited the location and picks up a package of photos, which were of David and Liz while she was pregnant with Carter and Taylor. Carter showed David and Liz the photos, admitting to them that Lori had given them to her.

It was revealed that David and Liz didn't meet Lori until Carter was three years old, the same age that she was abducted. So obviously Lori took the photos of Liz and David before they actually met her.

They come to the conclusion that Lori is clearly their stalker, which raised many questions in Carter's head.

The three realize that their situation may be worse than they thought, and they agree that they should continue to look for Lori.

Just as last episode teased, Max finally woke up from his coma. The Wilsons are all so happy to be talking to Max, and despite his condition he was able to crack some jokes to lighten the mood in the room. Max requests to see the tape from his shooting but Liz refuses to let him see it, claiming it's for his own protection. Max and Taylor's relationship has clearly taken a toll, as he has clearly turned negative and mean. He confessed to her that he is having a hard time accepting his current situation.

Max is annoyed with literally everything Taylor has done for him, saying he actually does mind that she is trying to help him. He even goes as far as telling her to leave and, "stay gone." Taylor does return, however, and Max apologizes for everything he said to her. Despite her forgiveness, Max breaks up with Taylor.

He tells her that she is a wonderful person, and that he cannot take away all of the good things in her life she had before he was shot.

The two share one final kiss before agreeing that they both need to get their lives back together.

Carter and Liz combine their police work to locate Lori, however it is Lori that comes to Carter disguised as a therapist that Liz agreed to have visit. Although Carter called her mom, her attitude towards Lori has taken a turn for the negative over the season, and the two argue about how David and Liz believe she is a stalker.

Lori tells Carter that she will always love and that the Wilsons are her real family, but most importantly that she deserves to know the truth.

Carter told David that Lori had visited her, and she showed him a picture that Lori had given Carter; the picture showed a shirtless David asleep.

Lori calls Liz, again disguising herself as the therapist, and Liz agrees to meet with her, much to Carter's disapproval.

Carter joins Liz before her meeting with Lori, and before Lori arrives Carter tells Liz that she is her mother while Lori is her kidnapper. Carter is directed to be located at the cafe across the street from their meeting point, and Liz also tells her that there are undercover cops all over the area. However Lori appears next to Carter in the cafe, telling her that she wishes she could chat with Liz but she is able to spot undercover cops.

Carter drank from a coffee that was given to her by Lori, and it was clearly poisoned as Carter falls ill.

Lori, acting as her mother, carries out to the car, telling her, "...you belong with me. We were perfect together." Liz runs after Lori's speeding away car, however it appears as if Lori will escape again.
