Fans of Netflix's new show, "Sense8," are starting to worry about its renewal.
"Sense8" has been out for over a month now but Netflix hasn't issued any word about the status of future seasons. In order to show support for the show fans are planning a Twitter spam on July 7th.
"Sense8" was created by Andy and Lana Wachowski. In a world where people can be reborn many times few have the honor of being reborn as a Sensate. A Sensate is a person who is suddenly connected to seven other people from all over the world. The connection allows them to access each other's skills, languages, and knowledge.
Each group of Sensates are called a Cluster. The particular cluster the show follows includes Will Gorski( Brain J. Smith,) a police officer from Chicago; Riley Blue (Tuppence Middleton,) an Icelandic DJ; Sun Bak (Bae Doona,) a martial artist from Korea; Capheus (Aml Ameen,) a bus driver from Nairobi; Kala Dandekar (Tina Desai,) a chemist from India; Wolfgang (Max Riemelt,) a German thief; Lito Rodriguez (Miguel Angel Silvestre,) a budding Mexican actor; and Nomi (Jamie Clayton,) a hacker in San Fransisco.
The show is definitely a slow builder as the world of the Sensates is built and they explore their new abilities. That said, it doesn't hold the viewers hand.
Not much is explained through a bunch of exposition.
Instead, it throws you in and viewers are left to sink or swim.
Don't worry, the single narratives of each character's stories keep you interested in wanting to know more about them even if you don't understand everything happening to them.
The twitter account Sense8IntFans called out to fans on tumblr and twitter to show how much they wanted another season by trending #RenewSense8 at the same time.
Viewer are still talking about the show, predicting what might happen if it gets a second season.
There are quite a few on Reddit but one thing thats agreeable is that the season should delve into the Cluster's "parents" and the mysterious enemy Whispers.
