It has been 28 years since we last saw Edward Fulong play John Connor, but the man is finally back. It has been announced at the San Diego Comic Con that Furlong will reprise the role in Terminator: Dark Fate.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be the first time Edward Furlong will be back since he played the character as a kid back in 1991 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He's not alone as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are also back too!

John Connor has been played by several actors after Edward Fulong decided not to return in other Terminator movies. Nick Stahl, Thomas Dekker, Christian Bale and Jason Clarke played the character in the newer movies and the sole TV show.

Aside from announcing Edward Furlong's return, they also revealed at Comic Con a new behind the scenes featurette. This new video also allows us to take a look and some unseen footage from the movie!

Terminator: Dark Fate releases in North America on November 1st, 2019. You can check out the official synopsis posted down below.

"27 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a new, modified liquid metal Terminator (Gabriel Luna) is sent from the future by Skynet in order to terminate Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a hybrid cyborg human (Mackenzie Davis), and her friends.
