EDM Rules the Billboard Hot 100 Chart With The Chainsmokers and Major Lazer

As the summer nears it's end, the Billboard Hot 100 doesn't seem to want it to end.

Two of the summer's biggest hits from the are now continuing to rule the Billboard Hot 100 as "Closer" by The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey and "Cold Water" by Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber and M? sit at the top two spots respectively.

"Cold Water" has been one of the biggest hits since its release. The track was engineered by the Major Lazer team which features EDM DJ Diplo and features writing credits to Ed Sheeran.

The track also features vocals from Justin Bieber and M? both who have found a way to accentuate their vocals to these dance beats that people can't seem to get enough of.

Today, the track sits at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and has peaked at number one in the past.

Meanwhile, The Chainsmokers have emerged as the front runners on the chart with their brand new hit song "Closer" featuring Halsey. The breezy track has emerged as one of the top played songs on the radio and is one of the biggest songs streaming at the moment.
